Charlotte Park and Wildlife Refuge (Robert Way)

Chinese Version 中文版
Compared to the other trails we have taken, this is very much a leisurely walk. And that says something about how leisurely this really is. Since it’s raison d’etre is to educate users about the local fauna and flora (recall your grade 3 school trip) the roads are flat and tidy with mini sign posts along the way. There were lots of birds gliding about, more than usual, probably because of the berry bushes. We also saw a few large mushrooms, with this teenage pimpled specimen being the standout!

There were also some wildflowers which we hadn’t seen before:

I am glad I brought the DSLR along with me. It gave me a chance to get to know the camera a bit more. However, we probably wouldn’t go back, as this trail’s exercise value is low.
