After doing some serious research about cameras, Ian started collecting these old point & shot film cameras in the past couple of months. He has been testing them and looks like they indeed produce better colors and quality of pictures compare to the technology nowadays - digital cameras. I guess the new doesn't really beat the old all the time after all.

For me, I am staying with modern technology. Digital cameras are much more convenient as I have no patience for the right light and right time to take precious shots.

So is Ian doing some serious research about cameras in order to buy a fancy digital camera?
The thing with film and older film cameras is that film's resolution is hard to beat except the higher end digital camera.
With digital, you can shoot and check and shoot a ton more without worry about costs. While this ability may not be always good, but it is often good.
Hey Kempton,
Ian is not interested in digital camera anymore, he did research for point and shot film cameras only.
and as you said, it is costly to get a digital cam with the same effect as a point and shot film can do!
Wow, Ian is a brave man.
I've passed the point of no return in digital. I can do so much more with a digital camera.
